ದೇವಾಡಿಗ ಸಂಘ (ರಿ), ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಇವರ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಮಾಜ ಬಾಂಧವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕೂಟ 2025–26 ಅನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕೂಟ, ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಭಾನುವಾರ, ದಿನಾಂಕ 11 ಜನವರಿ 2026 ರಂದು, ರಾಜರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮುನಿ–ವೆಂಕಟಪ್ಪ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಯೋಮಾನದ ಸಮಾಜ ಬಾಂಧವರು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಸ್ತಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು.

ಈ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕೂಟವು ದೇವಾಡಿಗ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಮೇಶ್ ಎನ್. ವಂಡ್ಸೆ ಅವರ ಗೌರವಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವೀರಪ್ಪ ಮೊಯ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರರೂ, ಖ್ಯಾತ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಹರ್ಷ ಮೊಯ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು, ಯುವಜನರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳು ಶಿಸ್ತು, ಬದ್ಧತೆ, ತಂಡಭಾವ, ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಗುಣಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಜೀವನಶೈಲಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ ಸಂಘದ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಘು ಶೇರಿಗಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ಲೋಬಲ್ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್‌ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಚ್. ಎಸ್. ದೇವಾಡಿಗ ಅವರು ಸಹ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಈ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸಂಘದ ಜನರಲ್ ಸೆಕ್ರಟರಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಶು ಕುಮಾರ್ ಹಿರಿಯಡ್ಕ, ಯುವ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ತೇಜಸ್ ಎಸ್., ಮಹಿಳಾ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರೇಖಾ ಸುರೇಶ್, ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೇಶವ ರಾವ್, ಖಜಾಂಚಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಸ್. ಎಂ. ಚಂದ್ರ, ಸಹ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿವಶಂಕರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶ್ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ, ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಧರ್ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ, ಮಾಜಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶ್ ರಾಜು ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ರಜನೀಕಾಂತ್, ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಜಿ. ಮೊಯ್ಲಿ, ಹಾಗು ಸಂಘದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕೋರ್ ಕಮಿಟಿಯ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಶ್ರಮ, ಸಮನ್ವಯ ಮತ್ತು ಬದ್ಧತೆಯಿಂದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶಿಸ್ತುಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಓಟದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗಾಗಿ ಲೆಮನ್–ಸ್ಪೂನ್ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗಾಗಿ ಹಗ್ಗಜಗ್ಗಾಟ, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಲಕರಿಗಾಗಿ ಚೀಲ ಓಟ, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಲಕರಿಗಾಗಿ ಗುಂಡೆಸೆತ (ಶಾಟ್‌ಪುಟ್), ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗಾಗಿ ಮ್ಯೂಸಿಕಲ್ ಚೇರ್, ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಹಾಗೂ ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶಿಸ್ತು, ನ್ಯಾಯಸಮ್ಮತ ಹಾಗೂ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತ ವಾತಾವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನೂರಾರು ಸಮಾಜ ಬಾಂಧವರು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಘದ ಈ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವನ್ನು ಹೃದಯಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮಹತ್ತಾದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಸಮಯ, ನಿರಂತರ ಶ್ರಮ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೃದಯಪೂರ್ವಕ ಸಹಕಾರ ಕಾರಣವಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ತೇಜಸ್ ಎಸ್., ಶ್ರೀ ಚೇತನ್ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ, ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಎಂ., ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಧರ್, ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿವಶಂಕರ್, ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ, ಶ್ರೀ ಎಸ್. ಎಂ. ಚಂದ್ರ, ಶ್ರೀ ದಿನೇಶ್ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರೇಖಾ ಸುರೇಶ್, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಚೈತ್ರಾ, ಶ್ರೀ ಶಶಿಕಾಂತ್ ಕಾರ್ಕಳ, ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧೀರ್ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ, ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರು ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ, ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ, ಶ್ರೀ ಕೇಶವ ಆರ್. (ಆರ್.ಆರ್. ನಗರ), ಶ್ರೀ ಯಶವಂತ್ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ, ಶ್ರೀ ದಿನಕರ ಹಿರಿಯಡ್ಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮಾಜದ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ ಸಂಘ (ರಿ), ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಹೃದಯಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳ ವಿಜೇತರಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಜನೀಕಾಂತ್ ಅವರು ವಂದನಾರ್ಪಣೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು, ಸಂಘಟಕರು, ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡವರು, ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡಿದವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕೂಟವು ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕತೆ, ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ, ಸಂತಸದ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಂಪನ್ನವಾಯಿತು.

Devadiga Sangha (R), Bangalore successfully organized its Sports Meet 2025–26, which included a Sports Meet, Cricket Tournament, and Volleyball Tournament, exclusively for community members on Sunday, 11 January 2026, at the Muni–Venkatappa Sports Ground, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bangalore. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm, discipline, and community spirit, witnessing active participation from members of all age groups.

The Sports Meet was held under the esteemed presidentship of Mr. Ramesh N. Vandse, President of Devadiga Sangha (R), Bangalore. The program was ceremoniously inaugurated by Mr. Harsha Moily, a renowned entrepreneur and the son of the former Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri Veerappa Moily. In his inspiring inaugural address, Mr. Harsha Moily highlighted the vital role of sports in shaping the lives of youth by nurturing discipline, commitment, teamwork, leadership qualities, and a healthy lifestyle.

The occasion was further graced by the presence of Mr. Rajkumar, General Secretary of KPCC, who attended the program as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests such as Mr. Raghu Sherigar, Former President of Devadiga Sangha, and Mr. H. S. Devadiga, Chairman, Global Institute, were also present, adding dignity and encouragement to the event.

The entire program was conducted in a highly disciplined and well-organized manner through the collective efforts and able leadership of Mr. Vishu Kumar Hiriadka (General Secretary), Mr. Tejas S. (Youth Wing President), Mrs. Rekha Suresh (President, Mahila Wing), Mr. Sudhakar Devadiga (Vice President), Mr. Keshava Rao (Vice President), Mr. S. M. Chandra (Treasurer), Mr. Shivashankar and Mr. Ganesh Devadiga (Joint Secretaries), Mr. Shridhar Devadiga (Organizing Secretary), Mr. Ganesh Raju and Mr. Rajanikanth (Former Secretaries), Mr. Srinivas G. Moily, along with the dedicated members of the Executive Committee and Core Committee of the Sangha. Their tireless efforts, coordination, and commitment ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the event.

A wide range of sporting activities were organized, including running races for children, lemon and spoon races for children and ladies, tug-of-war for ladies, sack races for ladies and boys, shot put for ladies and boys, musical chairs for ladies, along with Cricket and Volleyball Tournaments. All events were conducted in an orderly, fair, and spirited manner. Hundreds of community members participated enthusiastically, making the event vibrant and memorable, and expressed their appreciation for the initiative taken by the Sangha.

The grand success of this community sports program was made possible through the invaluable time, sincere efforts, and wholehearted dedication of many individuals. Prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners of various competitions, encouraging participants and recognizing their achievements. The program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Mr. Rajnikanth, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, organizers, participants, sponsors, and volunteers. The event came to a close on a memorable, joyful, and inspiring note, leaving behind a strong sense of unity and pride within the Devadiga community.
